You might think celebrities spend their free time lounging by infinity pools or cruising in Lamborghinis.

Instead, some of your favorite stars are out there dodging traffic, fixing flat tires, and yes, occasionally falling off their bikes just like the rest of us.

From superhero actors to pop divas, here are ten famous faces who’ve discovered what we already know – that life is better on two wheels.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

The Terminator has swapped “I’ll be back” for “I’ll bike back.”

At 77, Arnie maintains his fitness through cycling and even rents bikes whenever he visits a new country.

Though someone might want to remind him about UK road rules – he was once spotted cycling on the wrong side in Edinburgh!

Hugh Jackman

Wolverine’s claws might be retractable, but his love for cycling isn’t.

Jackman incorporates cycling into all his training routines as his preferred cardio workout.

He’s found solace in cycling during personal challenges, proving that bikes can be therapeutic as well as practical.

Simon Cowell

The talent show mogul has had his share of cycling mishaps.

The first incident occurred in August 2020, at his home in Malibu, California. Cowell was testing a new electric trail bike when he fell, breaking his back in several places.

The second accident took place on January 27, 2022, near his home in West London. Cowell was riding an e-bike, when he hit a wet patch on the road, causing the bike to skid.

They say ‘bad things happen in threes’. Let’s hope they’re wrong this time!

His sage advice after these incidents? “If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time.”

Words to live by, Simon.

Beyoncรฉ

Queen B might as well stand for Queen Bicycle. After a 15-year hiatus from cycling, she rediscovered the joy of riding in Dublin back in 2009.

Despite admitting she’s “not really a good bike rider,” Beyoncรฉ found that cycling gave her the freedom to explore cities while maintaining some anonymity โ€“ well, as much anonymity as Beyoncรฉ can get.

Matt Damon

The Bourne Identity star proves he’s action-packed off-screen too, participating in South Africa’s Cape Argus sportive.

These days, he sticks to Malibu trails on his e-MTB, always properly geared up (Jason Bourne would approve).

James May (from Top Gear)

The former Top Gear presenter might seem an unlikely cycling advocate, but he’s genuinely passionate about two-wheeled transport.

His bike gets plenty of use, and he wisely notes that “riding a bike feels good” – no arguments here, James.

Jennifer Lopez

J.Lo keeps it real with her modest Linus city bike, complete with a charming front basket.

For someone worth hundreds of millions, it’s refreshing to see her choosing such a practical ride.

She’s often spotted cruising around the Hamptons, proving she’s still Jenny from the block โ€“ just on two wheels.

Pink

The pop star makes cycling a family affair, often taking her crew on adventures worldwide.

She’s been spotted on 20-mile rides through Austria’s Wachau Valley and exploring Sydney Harbor by bike.

Though surprisingly, neither she nor her family members wear pink while riding!

Jennifer Aniston

Before she was Rachel Green, Aniston briefly worked as a New York bike messenger โ€“ for exactly one day.

While her cycling career was short-lived, she still enjoys casual rides in Central Park, preferring the softer landing spots, just in case.

Zac Efron

The High School Musical star takes cycling seriously, participating in triathlons for the challenge.

Though he nearly had a close encounter with a London bus while riding with Hugh Jackman, he didn’t let it stop him from getting back in the saddle.

I have to say, it’s refreshing to see these celebrities embrace the simple pleasure of riding a bike. Whether they’re commuting, training, or just enjoying a family ride, they prove that cycling truly is for everyone.

Just remember, celebrity or not, always wear a helmet and follow the rules of the road (looking at you, Arnold).
